Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, publishing a campaign, or using Unlid, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Unlid for a company or brand, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

2. Accounts and creator responsibility

Keep your account access secure and provide accurate information. Creators are responsible for their campaign claims, dates, links, uploaded media, audience communications, and compliance with applicable advertising, consumer, intellectual-property, and privacy laws. If a creator chooses to collect participant names, phone numbers, or company email addresses, they must use those details only for the stated campaign purpose and protect them from unauthorised access or misuse.

3. Content licence and ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Unlid a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, resize, display, and distribute that content only to operate, secure, promote, and improve your campaign. You confirm that you own the content or have all permissions needed to use it.

4. Public campaigns and fan participation

Published campaign links may be shared beyond the creator’s intended audience. Unless a campaign explicitly requires sign-in, anyone with the link may view and participate. Supporter numbers, milestones, rankings, and referral positions are commemorative only; they do not confer ownership, tickets, prizes, money, or investment rights.

5. Prices, payments, and taxes

Prices, currency, billing interval, tax treatment, and the item being purchased are displayed before checkout. Dodo Payments may act as merchant of record and process payment, tax, invoicing, and eligible refunds. Unlid never receives or stores your full card number.

Launch and Mega Launch are one-time purchases. Creator Pro is a monthly subscription unless checkout clearly states otherwise. Purchases apply to the signed-in account used at checkout and are activated after successful payment confirmation.

6. Renewals and cancellations

One-time plans do not renew. Creator Pro renews automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout until cancelled. You may cancel future renewal from Billing through the Dodo customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges; paid access ordinarily remains available until the end of the current billing period, subject to these Terms.

7. Refunds

Refund requests are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Eligible requests must be submitted within 30 days of a successful payment. Approval is not automatic and depends on transaction status, usage, applicable law, and Dodo Payments rules. Approved refunds return to the original payment method.

8. Prohibited use

Do not publish unlawful, deceptive, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, privacy-invasive, malware-related, fraudulent, or abusive content. Do not manipulate participation, evade limits, scrape private data, impersonate others, disrupt the service, or use campaigns for regulated financial activity, gambling, or prohibited goods.

9. Moderation, suspension, and takedowns

We may investigate reports and pause, limit, archive, or remove content or accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, payment risk, intellectual-property protection, or platform integrity. Copyright complaints may be submitted through our Copyright & Takedown process.

10. Service availability

Unlid is provided on an “as available” basis. Live campaigns may experience delays or interruptions. Do not use Unlid as the only channel for emergencies, safety notices, ticket delivery, or legally required announcements. To the extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential losses are excluded and total liability is limited to the amount you paid Unlid in the previous 12 months.

11. Changes, law, and contact

We may update these Terms prospectively and will revise the date above. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra having jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Questions can be sent through Support.
